Whether you love winter, or love to hate winter, it must come to an end eventually. In the Ticonderoga Area, no matter which camp you fall into, it is a time to celebrate. And celebrate we do, with our Ticonderoga Area End of Winter Carnival and Fireworks Celebration. Our End of Winter Carnival is a mix of indoor fun and outdoor activities that are sure to entertain the entire family.

Punky Noodle Kid’s Zoo Day: Punky Noodles Children’s Museum, 4:30 p.m.
The festivities kick off at 4:30 p.m. at Punky Noodles Children’s Museum. The Punky Kids are excited to bring you an unforgettable zoo experience. Each child will study 1 to 2 animals and set up an animal habitat with a stuffed animal. Visitors are welcome to come learn from our young zookeepers. A $5 suggested donation will help support Punky Noodles Power of Play Fund and World Wildlife Fund’s global efforts to protect wildlife.
Family Movie Night: Best Western Plus Ticonderoga, 5:00 p.m.
Enjoy a family movie. Movie will begin at 5:00 p.m., and doors open at 4:30 p.m. Popcorn will be provided! A special menu for the event will be available for purchase from The Burgoyne Grill. Adult supervision required. Pre-registration required by contacting the Best Western Plus directly. Movie will be announced by the Best Western.

Ice Skating and Hot Chocolate: Town of Ticonderoga Skating Rink, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Open skating will be available to the community at the Ticonderoga Skating Rink. A limited supply of ice skates will be available for use. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate donated by Champ Cafe. Adult supervision required.
Children’s Performance, Super Circus with Mr. Fish: Ticonderoga Armory, 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Come be amazed at this juggling, balancing, and magic act! You may even become part of the show!
Carnival: Ticonderoga Armory, 12:00-2:00 p.m.
Nothing beats the winter blues like carnival games! Try your luck at a variety of festive games, and take home some prizes! Next, have a jump in the bounce house and work up an appetite! There will be popcorn and cotton candy available by donation for snacking. 802 Longshot restaurant will be onsite making lunch for purchase. The Art Bucket will be creating beautiful full face art for a small fee.
Snowmobile Rides: Ticonderoga Recreational Fields, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Complimentary snowmobile rides provided by the Adirondack Trailriders will be available for children and families. This activity is weather and snow dependent. If rides do not take place, snowmobiles and grooming equipment will be on display.
Campfire & S'mores: Fishing Pier In Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park, 7:30 p.m.
Warm up by the fire and enjoy a complimentary S’more donated by Ti SB Storage prior to or during the fireworks.
Fireworks Display: Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park, 8:00 p.m.
Grab a blanket and enjoy the show! If you choose to watch the display from your vehicle, we encourage you to park where it is safe and legal to do so.
