The Town of Westport is hosting an Eclipse weekend spectacular!

Designated viewing areas for the Town of Westport are: Westport Golf and Lakeview Campus.

Thursday 

• 6 pm - Westport Library - Learn about eclipses from Dr. Jacqueline Van Gorkom of Columbia University

Friday 

• Enjoy food and shopping deals from local businesses

Saturday 

• Breakfast Buffet at the Westport Federated Church

• Breakfast at Mountain Dog Restaurant & Pub

• 9 am to 11 am - CATS Guided Hike in Essex, NY

• 10 am - FlowersPlus! Lilac Care Presentation at Westport Town Hall

• 10 am to 12 pm - CATS Forest Bathing at the Essex Quarry. Please register.

• 11am - 6pm Eclipse Lunch at the Westport Federated Church

• 12 pm to 2 pm - Rolling Hills Estate Winery at Bessboro Shop

• 7 pm - Movie Night at the Whallonsburg Grange Hall

Sunday 

• 10 am to 12 pm - Guided CATS Hike in Westport

• 10 am to 2 pm - Brunch fundraiser at Dogwood Bakery for the Wadhams Library

• 2 pm to 4 pm - Orienteering Scavenger Hunt with CATS in Westport

• 6 pm to 10 pm - WWCA Casino Night - Tickets available at link and at the door.

• 6pm to 10pm - Kids Night Out at Heritage House provided by Casino Night

Monday (Eclipse Day!) 

• Eclipse Lunch at the Westport Federated Church

• Designated Eclipse Viewing Areas: Westport Golf, Lakeview Campus, Fairgrounds Track

• 2:13 pm - Eclipse Begins. Glasses on!

• 3:26 pm to 3:29 pm - Eclipse Totality. It will be dark, you do not need your glasses for these 3 minutes.

• 3:29 pm to 4:30 pm - Eclipse comes out of totality. Glasses on!
