LARCH Program: Lake George Archaeology

Join the Lower Adirondack Region Center for History for their program Fort William Henry: Stories of Early Archaeology from the 1950's and 60's. Maritime archaeologist and author Joseph W. Zarzynski will present a PowerPoint talk on early archaeology at Fort William Henry. Located at the south end of Lake George, the fort was active from 1755-1757. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the opening of Fort William Henry Museum in which the artifacts uncovered in the digs were to be displayed.
