Exhibit Opening “A Revolutionary Anthology: Power of Place” – the first of America’s 250th commemoration exhibitions at Fort Ticonderoga
Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Located at Fort Ticonderoga, Mars Education Center, 102 Fort Ticonderoga Rd.
Fort Ticonderoga, joined by New York State Senator Dan Stec, announce “A Revolutionary Anthology: Power of Place” -- the first of America's 250th commemoration exhibitions at Fort Ticonderoga.
The Power of Place explores the spaces and places that impacted the Revolutionary experience. From the famous cities to less familiar battlefields across the Atlantic, the American War for Independence shaped, and was shaped by a global geography that this exhibit presents. The exhibit features over 100 artifacts, many from the newly acquired Robert Nittolo Collection on public display for the first time EVER.
