'Tis the season for holiday trains!
Did you have a relative who collected glass Christmas villages? Wintry scenes where the inhabitants seemed to have the perfect winter day, every day? Well, now you can experience your own perfect winter day when the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolls into Port Henry on November 26th!
Now in its 26th season, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has become a cherished tradition for communities across the United States and Canada—make it part of your holiday season, too! As part of the Holiday Train's annual mission, spectators are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items for local food shelves. Don't forget to bring a canned good to support the local food shelf and help those in need this holiday season! Since its inaugural journey in 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised over $24.3 million and collected approximately 5.3 million pounds of food for community food banks across Canada and the U.S.
A night of music
In addition to its charitable cause, the train hosts its own concert via train car! Enjoy a fantastic lineup of musical talents, featuring performances by James Barker Band and Clerel. The box car stage provides the perfect setting for a night of unforgettable Christmas entertainment. Cozy up with complimentary hot cocoa and popcorn as you settle in for a night of festive music and fun. And, as if it could get any better, admission to the Holiday Train event is entirely free, ensuring that everyone can join in the festivities and experience the magic of the holiday season.

The Holiday Train begins its journey in Montreal in November, traversing through 164 communities in the United States and Canada.
