Fall is right around the corner and with it comes all of your quintessential favorite fall activities! From wagon rides to pumpkin picking, we are all looking to check things off of our fall bucket list. What better way to do that than at one event, the Ticonderoga Area FallFest?
This year’s Ticonderoga Area FallFest will take place Saturday, September 24 at picturesque Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park. The event will be split into two halves, with daytime and evening features that will ensure fall fun for the entire family!
12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
The daytime portion of FallFest will feature the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market, local vendors and crafters, food trucks, and fun live music by Hank Bisner.
In addition to this, there will also be carnival games provided by Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center, FREE face painting, children’s activities provided by local civic organizations, and a “touch a truck” event where children can visit a police vehicle, ambulance rig, fire truck, dump truck, train truck, and more! Families will also be able to enjoy a wagon ride provided by the Sawyer family.
5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The evening portion of the event will bring the family together for a night of fun! There will be children’s activities provided by the Town of Ticonderoga Youth Commission, including fishing and "the floor is lava." Live Music will be provided by local band, Bark Eater.
To curb your hunger, Ticonderoga area restaurants will be on hand dishing out their fan favorites! For those 21 and over, there will be a Beer Garden provided by the Crab Shack (you MUST be 21 to enter and have a valid ID present). The event will culminate at 8:00 p.m. with a fireworks display over the park.
With all of this fall fun happening in one place, the Ticonderoga Area FallFest is your one-stop-shop to complete your fall bucket list. So, break out your favorite flannel, grab a pumpkin spice latte, and join us September 24 in Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park for a full day of fun!
As if all of these fun activities aren’t enough fun, FallFest is taking place amidst the first Annual Ticonderoga Area Restaurant Week. From September 16-30, local restaurants will be participating in the Ticonderoga Area Restaurant Week's Passport program.
