The Noblewood nature and birding trail is open year round. Off-season admission (by foot) is free.

Getting there

From the Lake Champlain ferry dock in the Hamlet of Essex, turn right and proceed three miles north on Rt. 22. Coming from this direction, the entrance to the park is on the right.

The nature and birding trails in this Town of Willsboro park offer extraordinary views of the Green Mountains of Vermont and Lake Champlain. All the trails don't lead to Rome here, but some lead to the Willsboro Town Beach!

The easy, half-mile long Noblewood Park trail begins on Route 22, 3 miles north of Essex. The trail provides access to Lake Champlain, a swimming beach, and a scenic river delta.

Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing

This is a considered an easy snowshoe or ski, with plenty of opportunities for exploration.
