The Florence Hathaway Trail passes through a magical pine forest and along a creek to a rock wall, then returns through a flat woods trail that has seasonally wet areas. 

How to get there

The trailhead is on Essex Road (Route 22), 3.2 miles north of the Essex Ferry and 1.3 miles south of the bridge over the Boquet River in Willsboro.
