Split Rock Wildway

The Split Rock Wildway is a "wildlife corridor" between Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. Hiking the Wildway Overlook is a great way to view this area!
Getting there
The trailhead is on Brookfield Road in Essex, NY - just a quarter mile south of Reynolds Road.

Hiking
A fairly easy climb rewards with incredible views of the valley, and some interpretive signage along the way.
Snowshoeing
This is considered an easy climb on snowshoes. Be sure to allocate extra time, as moving in the winter is much slower.
