Hiking the Boquet Mountain Trail
The passage continues through South and North Boquet mountains, and while it doesn't have any big views of the mountains or Lake Champlain, the trail makes up for it in the interesting biodiversity of trees and animals you'll see. If you'd like to make this a one-way hike, spot a car at either of the trailheads. This could allow for a longer day of also hiking to the top of North Boquet Mountain and the Rocky Ledges Trail.
Boquet Mountain Trail in the winter
The southern trailhead is on a seasonally-closed road and not accessible by car in the winter. However, the northern portion is, and depending on your skill level, can be skied. If you don't bring skis, be prepared for all winter conditions and bring snowshoes and microspikes.
