Talking Archaeology: Stories & Secrets from Canal Boat Shipwrecks

Join the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum for a special free talk on their last day of the season! Executive Director Chris Sabick will give a presentation on lesser-known canal boat shipwrecks in Lake Champlain and what our Research & Archaeology team has uncovered from these mysterious wrecks. After the talk, step into our newest exhibit, Underwater Archaeology: Diving into the Stories of People and Canal Boats on Lake Champlain for more canal boat archaeology.

This talk will be held in the auditorium of the Hoehl Family Education and Visitor Center. It will last approximately 30-45 minutes with time for Q&A afterwards. This event is free to attend, no registration required.
