HalloweenFest 2024 – Happy Halloween!!
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) are pleased to announce HalloweenFest from October 18th to October 31st, 2024. The traditional Halloween celebration has expanded in several ways and the committee is hoping to continue the growth for the community and visitors.
Friday, October 18th

6:30–8:30 PM: Halloween Movie: Hocus Pocus – Downtown Ticonderoga
Free outdoor movie event at the Ticonderoga Area Farmers Market behind Glens Falls National. Popcorn and beverages provided. Bring your camp chair or blanket. Event hosted by Ticonderoga Elks, Peak Force Cheer, and That’s RAD!! -
8:00–11:00 PM: Haunted House – Silver Bay YMCA
Something spooky is happening inside Paine Hall after sundown. Bring a buddy to discover what eerie surprises await. The event will also take place on October 4th, 10th, 17th, and 25th.
Tuesday, October 22nd

3:30–5:30 PM: Pumpkin Decorating – North Country Community College, Ticonderoga Campus
Free Halloween fun event. Decorate a pumpkin and enjoy refreshments. Hosted by NCCC and Student Government Association. -
4:00–6:00 PM: Mountain Lake Services Trunk-or-Treat – Mountain Lake Consignment
Free trick-or-treating event for kids of all ages. Costumes encouraged!
Wednesday, October 23rd
- 4:30 PM: TMSP Chicken BBQ – Ticonderoga Knights of Columbus
$15 per person includes a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, roll, and dessert. Dine-in or takeout. Proceeds benefit Downtown Ticonderoga events.

Thursday, October 24th
- 8:00–11:00 PM: Zombie Hike – Silver Bay YMCA
An eerie hike under the stars! Event will also be held on October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 31st.
Friday, October 25th

5:30 PM: Haunted History Tour – Crown Point State Historic Site
Walk through Crown Point’s barracks and hear eerie tales of drownings, shadow figures, and other ghostly sightings.
Free Event. Cider and donuts at 5:30 PM; Tour starts at 5:45 PM.
Rain date: October 30th. -
5:30–7:00 PM: Monster Mash – Ticonderoga Elementary School
Boo basket raffles, music, games, and a costume contest for grades Pre-K to 6th. $5/person.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds benefit Ticonderoga PTO. -
7:00 PM: “How I Became a Ghost” – Hancock House, LARCH
Storytelling program featuring local families sharing how they “became a ghost.” Free event hosted by LARCH. -
7:00–9:30 PM: Teen Halloween Dance – Silver Bay YMCA Ticonderoga Teen Center
Free event open to all registered teens. Music, photo booth, and snacks included. Costumes are encouraged. -
8:00 PM: Halloween Party – Employees Mutual Association
Dress up and join EMA for a night of spooky fun! Entertainment by Hodgepodge.
Saturday, October 26th

10:00 AM: Harvest Halloween Festival and Fright Nights – Hunter Way Farm
10 AM–3:30 PM: Annual Harvest Halloween Festival.
3:30–6:30 PM: Kids Meet & Greet Festival ($7/child).
6:30 PM: Kids Movie; 7–11 PM: Scary Trail and Horror Movie. -
11:00 AM: Hocus Pocus Magic Show – Ticonderoga Community Building
Fun-filled Halloween-themed magic show hosted by Ticonderoga Festival Guild. Free entry. -
11:00 AM–2:00 PM: Hague Trunk-or-Treat – Hague Fire House
Free trunk-or-treat event for all ages. Costume contest and scavenger hunt included. -
1:00 PM: Halloween Children’s Storytime – Black Watch Memorial Library
Children are invited to read Creepy Carrots and design their own Halloween cookie. Free event. -
6:30–8:30 PM: Pumpkin Walk & Campfire – Percy Thompson Bicentennial Park
Join a community pumpkin walk in the park. Pumpkins from local schools and farmers will be on display. Campfire, s’mores, and hot cider available for purchase. Free event hosted by Natural Foods Co-Op, TACC, and TMSP. -
7:00–9:00 PM: Haunted Trail – Ticonderoga Elementary School
Admission: $7/adults, $5/students. Proceeds benefit Ticonderoga Boy Scouts.
Sunday, October 27th
- 10:00–10:30 AM: Zombie Fun Run – Ticonderoga Elementary School Track
$5 entry. Join the Ticonderoga Boy Scouts for a spooky mile-long fun run!
Thursday, October 31st

3:15–5:00 PM: Trick-or-Treat – Downtown Ticonderoga & Area Businesses
Participating businesses will be handing out treats.
Note: Montcalm Street will be closed from Sunshine Laundry to Heritage Museum from 3:05 PM–5:15 PM. -
4:00–6:00 PM: Crown Point Trunk or Treating – Veterans Memorial Park
Free trick-or-treat event for all ages. Community members are encouraged to decorate their vehicle trunks.
