This lovely loop offers wonderful woods and water views. The entire hamlet of Essex is designated as a National Historic District, with 160 structures built between 1810 and 1860.

The roads here are open, with wooded terrain alongside. This area is low traffic. There are services in Essex and Whallonsburg.
