Putnam Pond is nestled amongst the mountains and lakes of the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Area, and can be quite popular in the summer when the campground is open. The pond is large, and even if there are people present, it's easy to spread out amongst the islands and bays.
How to get there
Located in the Putnam Pond Campground off Route 74. 6 miles west of the village of Ticonderoga.
Boat launch
There is a narrow hard surface ramp with parking for 10 cars and trailers. Day use fee in season.
